Horsebridge is a tiny village on the River Test, about halfway between Romsey and Stockbridge. I work on the top floor of the old mill, which still has the original sack hoist so there's no excuse for not making it up to the top floor! A pair of swans and their 8 cygnets made their home on the part of the River Test by the mill the first summer I worked there and the Test Way runs along the other side of the river, though disappointingly it soon diverges from the banks of the river.
There is also an old railway station at Horsebridge which, though the trains no longer run to Horsebridge, looks just at though it is waiting for the train to arrive. It has, in fact, been restored as a corporate entertainment centre.
These are a few photographs I have taken of the area. Please click on the picture to view an enlarged image.
